Here's the blurb for Expecting a Bolton Baby:

In this Bolton Brothers book, first comes the baby…and maybe then comes marriage?

He'd never expected to see Stella Caine again. After one wild night, she'd walked away—right after revealing that her father was the one man who could threaten the biggest business deal of Bobby Bolton's career. So Bobby left her alone.

Until now.

Now Stella is pregnant and staying in his condo. This is a complication that can be solved only one way: marriage. Bobby wants to do the right thing. Hell, he wants her—has never stopped wanting her. Surely he can convince her to say yes, even without those three little words….

I'm super excited about the conclusion to the Bolton Brothers series. Bobby was a tough nut to crack, but I'm really pleased with how well his story turned out.

Here's what the early reviews are saying:

4.5 Stars! The Bolton Brothers are back, and they’re hotter than ever in this latest series installment. With interesting and quirky characters, funny dialogue and a sexy romance, Anderson works magic. --RT Book Reviews

Expecting a Bolton Baby was hard to put down in the beginning. I read the first half straight through and got really engaged with the story...Bobby was ever caring, sweet, and was always putting Stella's wishes and wants before his own. Plus, he cooks and does the dishes! Now that's the kind of hero I love.--Nina’s Literary Escape

4 stars! The weather’s changing and it’s time to cozy up with easy to read, light romance. Expecting a Bolton Baby by Sarah M. Anderson is a great choice if you like to watch the hero and the heroine tip toe around each other emotionally, while denying any feelings, even to themselves! Sarah M. Anderson writes with a light hand, adds a few colorful characters and a few little twists just to keep things lively in this nicely paced, cozy little romance!--Tome Tender Book Blog

Bringing Home the Bachelor is available now!

Bringing Home the Bachelor is here! Yippee!
Oh, Billy--such a hearbreaker!

I'll be doing a reading at Bailey's Fudge in Quincy, IL., on Sept. 17 at 6:30, so I hope to see you there! I'll also be on WGEM Radio on Sept. 10 at 9 am.

Then I'll be at Lady Jane's Salon in Naperville, IL., on Oct. 1. at 7 p.m. There WILL be chocolate! Hope to see everyone there!

Here's the blurb:

In this Bolton Brothers novel, Sarah M. Anderson shows how one single mom at a bachelor auction can bring home the wildest ride of her life!

Jenny Wawasuck knows that "Wild" Billy Bolton is all wrong for a good girl like her. But then she sees the bond Billy forms with her son—and feels how Billy's touch burns her skin, how his kiss ignites desires she's long ignored. So she brings him home from the charity bachelor auction.

Now Billy has one night to stake his claim. But in a world filled with blackmailers and gold diggers, can a millionaire bad boy and a sweet single mom turn one chance into forever?

Here's where you can buy it:

And here's what the reviewers are saying!

4 stars! "In Anderson's latest Bolton Brothers story, fans of hot bad-boy bikers with hearts of gold will get their chance to swoon. Great character development with equally good dialogue and some memorable scenes are just three things to like with this one."--RT Book Reviews

4.5 stars! "Sarah M. Anderson delivers once again, providing a great romance with real characters and emotions. I loved Billy's story, and I'm confident it will remain my favorite in the trilogy. I am curious to  see Bobby's book. At this point, I can't stand Bobby, but I am hoping that Anderson will find a way to redeem him, to show more about his character and/or explain why he's such a sleek jerk...."--The Book Queen

4.5 stars! "This book was like a virtual hug. It gave me the warm and fuzzies whilst making me completely content. I loved the characters, I loved the side-stories but most of all, I loved the romance."--Scorching Book Reviews

4 stars! "Overall, Bringing Home The Bachelor gave me everything I want out of a romance. It has a smoking hot biker hero with a softer side, a strong and likable heroine and great secondary characters. Sarah M. Anderson is a fairly new author to me. I have loved her Men Of The White Sandy series but never read anything else by her. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I’ve read so far and will continue to do so in the future. She has become one of my favorite authors. You can never go wrong with a Sarah M. Anderson romance!"--Swept Away by Romance

5 stars! "I loved both Billy and Jenny…Billy is my favorite of the three brothers.  His bad boy exterior actually hides a pretty soft inside that he doesn't show to anyone."--Susan's 2013 Reading Blog

And don't forget--Expecting a Bolton Baby is coming soon--as in, Nov. 2!

Can Bobby be redeemed?
I'm betting yes!
I'll be at the West Co. Mall Barnes & Noble in St. Louis on Nov. 9 for a signing and at the Chesterfield Barnes & Noble on Nov. 10 for a reading. Hope to see everyone there!

Masked Cowboy is HERE!

He's here! He's here! Jacob, the Masked Cowboy, released today!

Let's all take a moment to admire his fine . . . face.

Yeah, he's got a great . . . face.

I made a book trailer for him, too! You can see it in all of its glory at Scorching Reviews!

I'll be doing some highly irregular blogging. Mostly Aug. 8th at Romance University. I've got some events coming up at the end of August in Chicago and St. Louis. Be on the look out for those!

What are people saying about Masked Cowboy?

"4.5 Stars! The story catches you from the start as Ms. Anderson weaves a tale of mystery and Indian lore that surrounds the reservation. I am excited to see where this story is going; I love the White Sandy area and those that live there."--Ramblings From a Chaotic Mind

"4 Stars! This is a couple who don’t have an easy path to love but it is a love you know will last as it is built on mutual respect and need plus a good dose of friendship... I really enjoyed it.  I’m ready for more in the series especially…  Nobody!!!"--Book-a-Holic Anon

"4 StarsMasked Cowboy is a perfect addition to the series. I love Sarah M. Anderson’s style and the unique characters she creates."--Swept Away by Romance

"4 Stars! MASKED COWBOY is one exceptional book!  I was so impressed with Sarah M. Anderson’s writing talent.  How she crafted such a deeply emotional, high impact story is very impressive.  Jacob and Mary Beth are characters you quickly fall in love with, the secondary characters of Kip and Robin make this book outstanding reading experience."--Mystic Reviews

"4 Stars! Once again, Sarah M. Anderson delivers a lovely contemporary, one that is both sweet and sexy, fun and a little bit mysterious. With Masked Cowboy she gives a twist on the usual "cowboy" story, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!--The Book Queen

Me! At ALA! And in a Play!

Hey! Are you going to ALA (that's the American Library Association, yo) next week in Chicago, Illinois?

Me, too! I'm going to be signing from 9 to 10 a.m. Sunday, June 30 at the RWA booth. I'll have on a hat, sexy men on buttons, and generally we'll have more fun than should be allowed for that early on a
Sunday morning!

I'll be signing copies of Straddling the Line and talking about the Bolton Brothers as well as Mystic Cowboy and Masked Cowboy. Plus . . . did I mention the buttons?

So come see me! Afterwards, I plan on wandering around like a googly-eyed tourist. I've never been to an ALA. So come on, librarians! Show me what you've got!

After that, well . . . stay tuned! I got a role in the Quincy Community Theater's production of 9 to 5. I'm Roz, the office snitch! I sing a big torch song and irritate every other single character on stage. Trust me when I say this--my performance is shameless. I have no pride. I will do anything for a laugh!

So if you're in or near Quincy from July 11 through the 21 (yes, there's that many opportunities to see me be a brazen hussy) get a ticket and come see me!

What I did at RT!

Sorry for the delay in posting about RT, everyone. Some people had their RT wrap-up done on Monday. Me? I had deadlines and a pressing need to sleep. It's been two weeks and I'm *just* starting to feel caught up! (It helps that I turned both books in. YAH!)

So, what did I do at RT? I don't know, honestly. It was such a whirl! Luckily for everyone--including my mother, who ends every conversation with "don't forget to take pictures"--I had some help here. Author Jules Bennett and Reader Mary Dieterich (better know to you all as Lovely Mary, Grammar Goddess) were standing by to take photos! Most of Mary's photos went up on Facebook, where I shared them and my mother could see that yes, pictures were happening! Most of Jules' photos went to Twitter, where everyone else could see them.

Being oh-so-technically savvy, I managed to download them all and now will post them in convenient blog format! Yippee!

Samhain held a Safari where they gave us silly hats and had safari-like photo ops. Jules and I went joy-riding.

Harlequin provided us with posters of our books! Here's me with Maisey Yates and Jules. I'm totally in love with giant book covers. I'm thinking of wallpapering my office with them.

One of the parties was a disco party.  That's me and Jules, believe it or not. She had a 'fro wig! True story--I bought that hat at a thrift store and was concerned it wasn't 'disco' enough. Then we walk into the party and discover that Ellora's Cave--the disco party host--had provided EVERYONE with very similar hats. That's right--you read it here first--I was trend-setting in relation to 1979!

This is the day of the massive author book signing. Notice how perky I, Jules and Andrea Laurence still look? Yeah, that was before the 3 hours of awesome readers and not enough bathroom breaks!

I met author Laura Kinsale--who slapped a pair of headphones on my head and pressed play. She has the absolutely sexiest voice reading her audio books. As you can tell, I couldn't believe my ears!

There was a formal ball! And I got that dress zipped up! Here I am with Jeanette Kennedy, Jules, Lynn Raye Harris, Andrea, me, and Kira Sinclair. So much glamour!

At that massive book fair, I worked my tail feathers off. I handed out about 600 Mystic/Masked Cowboy booklets and sold my Desires. It was a great crowd--and so many people did want to take a shirtless cowboy home with them!

There was an e-book expo, too! Here's Jules, Vivian Arend and me before the fun started! Vivian is a wonderful woman who also bought me breakfast and AND gave me homemade soap! What a wonderful woman! We had breakfast with author Leah Braemel--who gave me chocolate! There really is something to Canadians being nicer, eh?

The A authors were off to the side across a triple-wide aisle at the e-book expo. There was some down time, so what did Randi Alexander and I do? Line Dancing, of course! Jules took this sneaky picture and reported that we were 'hilarious.' I'm going to take her at her word on this one.

There was a Saloon! So the Lovely Mary and I cinched up our corsets and hit the town. That corset proved very useful--I had it on underneath both my formal gown and my disco dress!

Oh, and I won an award. You knew that, right? A Man of Privilege was the RT Best Desire of the Year for 2012! I got up in front of over 600 people--including many publishing professionals--and said the phrase "I know your butts are getting numb so I'm going to make this quick." TWICE. But I thanked my editor, Stacy Boyd, for holding my hand through the massive rewrite that led to the award and I also told how I dedicated the book to my Gram and she'd lived long enough to get her advance author copy, only to die on release day. I'm also pretty sure I scolded the audience when they all went "Awww" as I said that. I think I said "Don't be sad! She was 97 and lived a long, happy life! She got to see her book!" So, yeah--I was told I was funny. Thank God for that, right?

Harlequin had a Series Soiree, where a bunch of Series Authors got together and played a game with some lovely readers. It was a big room with no sound equipment, so I had to be loud to be heard. Luckily, I was up to the task!

Finally, I returned home, exhausted and victorious. It took my whole family the better part of a day to sort through all the swag--which my son did not mind, as it was his 8th birthday and he got to pick whatever he wanted. Gater, however, was unimpressed with my award. It wasn't bacon, so he just didn't care. Silly dog!

I have more photos and more stories--but I haven't even downloaded my pictures yet! This is just what Mary and Jules took, bless their hearts. My mother sends her thanks, ladies!

What (Not?) to Wear to RT13?

So, I'm going to preface this blog of grainy photos by saying a couple of things.

First off, my authorial mom friend Jules Bennett made me do this after I spent yesterday morning complaining I didn't have a fancy dress to wear to RT's Reader Convention at the beginning of May and then, that night, my husband reminded me I had already bought a dress. Yes, I had completely forgotten I owned a dress. In fact, after digging back into my closet, I had apparently forgotten that I owned SEVERAL dresses. Andrea Laurence is also key in making me play dress up on a Saturday morning. This one's for you, ladies!

Which leads me to my second point. For a woman who spends 80% of her time in blue jeans and the remaining 20% in pajamas, I owe a LOT of dresses. This is a sickness. I haven't worn a fancy dress since, um, a hot date--and that was in 2012! It's been a year!

Third, I had my husband (Bless the man) take these photos with my cell phone, which turned out not to be my best idea ever. So you'll just have to take it with a grain of salt when I tell you that one dress is emerald green and one is aqua, okay?

Fourth--I had on the bare minimum of under-eye concealer, no spanx, and we won't discuss when I'd last shaved my legs. All dresses would be worn with full body-armor supportive undergarments.

So, this is for Jules, who will tell me what to wear after she gets done snickering at me.

First up, a black cocktail dress that's fairly conservative. If I was going to a funeral, I could pull this one off. It's got a high-back collar and some nice seaming at the waist, plus a little flip in the back, but it's pretty darn conservative. I've only worn it once, to the Chicago-North Spring Fling Banquet in 2012. I wore it with cowboy boots. Really.

Next, the only floor length dress I own (that's not a wedding dress): This is a black velvet, sleeveless number with a small fan tail. I have only worn it twice--once to a black tie wedding 3 weeks after I met my husband and then on our first New Year's Eve together, which we celebrated at the John Hancock Building, 96th floor. Which was...12 years ago. The caveat with this dress is that it does not zip. I might be able to have it altered to make that last half inch of zipper, but I also need to lose 10 pounds to make it really work.

Our next contender is the one my husband is STILL laughing at me for not remembering buying 2 months ago. I think of this as my Bond Girl dress because it's slinky but covered. The picture shows it as blue, but it's really more of a teal/aqua color. The seaming at the bust is, um, dramatic and it's got a little faux peplum on it to help camouflage certain parts! Bonus! Plus--sleeves. I love sleeves. Sleeves make me so very, very happy. I have never worn this dress in public before.

Our next contender is another oldie but goodie. I wore this dress in 2003 to dinner on Coronado island in San Diego. The bust and sleeves are black mesh, with a barely-there black lace liner at the bust. The rest is black and slinky. It's incredibly covered and incredibly revealing at the same time--and I barely got it zipped (I was a different weight, shall we say, when I wore it 10 yrs ago). It's also got a seam that's busting on me, so I'd have to have it fixed. And I may not be able to lean over in mixed company. It's a VERY deep-cut bust line.

Then we come to a classic, Mad-Men-esque cocktail dress that I have recently actually worn in public! Yes! I wore this on a thank-God-the-Kid's-at-my-folks'-house-for-the-night fancy date just last fall! It's a black satin dress with faux jewels sewn on the neckline. It's a tad loose on the top and a tad tight on the bottom, but it's otherwise a pretty forgiving dress. Darts at the waist are helpful in accommodating my bod.

Now we come to the dress that I wore to RWA in 2009. I'm so proud of this dress for a couple of reasons--my sister helped me pick it out and then, a year later, we saw a What Not To Wear episode where a similarly proportioned woman wore this dress as part of her big reveal. Lo! This dress is Stacy and Clinton Approved! YES! Also, I took second place at the Chicago-North Fire and Ice contest while wearing this dress, so ya! I haven't worn it since 2010, though. I thought I would have to lose that elusive 10 pounds to get into it, but it had more give than I remembered, so it's still wearable. Plus, it's not black! Boom! Pop of color!

Now we're to another one of my successes--my bridesmaid's dress from my sister's wedding 2 years ago. I fought hard for a dress style and color I felt looked good on me and could be re-worn without being obviously a bridesmaid dress (NO PINK). The shirring of the fabric is very concealing and the one shoulder is dramatic. I did have it shortened, so this is a extra-fancy cocktail dress, I think.

Finally, one of my lucky finds--the green dress with sleeves. SLEEVES! YAH! And it's emerald green! It was on sale. I've worn it a couple of times, including to Spring Fling 2010. I was going to wear it when I was supposed to meet Val Kilmer last year, but darn him for canceling on me. So we've got wonderful sleeves that are full coverage without being tight, a drape neck and--yes--even pockets! I've never used them because they would make me lumpy--it is a sheath skirt--but they're there.

So there you have it! I have other, more casual dresses that go better with my cowboy boots and hat, but this is my fancy selection. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO RT!? Please, tell me. Seriously.
